Pregnancy massage

Massage during pregnancy can relieve pain in muscles and joints, increase flexibility, relieve abdominal soreness, ease constipation, reduce excess fluid retention, slow the progress of varicose veins and relieve headaches. Massage during labor can reduce discomfort and provide relaxation between contractions. Our massage therapist is certified in pregnancy massage.

Newborn massage

An introductory class in newborn massage is available at the Women's Health Center by Pascale Reding-Chow, LMT, and Pam Eichler, LMT. Parents or expectant parents learn early infant communication, crying and coping, baby's time-out cues, comforting, and giving a loving, gentle massage.

This class is for parents of medically stable infants, or expectant parents. Classes are offered the second Saturday of every month. Please call the Women's Health Center for more information.
