Intensive care unit
The Intensive care unit (ICU)—a four-bed unit with modern cardiac care equipment, including monitors, life-saving and life-sustaining systems—treats patients requiring constant observation and nursing attention.
ICU nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support and trained in critical-care nursing. The ICU nursing staff also oversees 12 channels of telemetry cardiac monitoring for patients throughout the hospital requiring continuous cardiac rhythm observation.
