About Us

Message to the Community

Welcome to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital | TriHealth (MHMH). We're glad you took the time to visit our website to learn more about us.

Almost 60 years ago, two local families had the vision to provide a hospital for residents in the Oxford, Ohio area. The McCullough and Hyde families provided the initial donations that ultimately led to the opening of MHMH. Since then, we've continued our mission to bring care to the communities we serve by expanding our locations, increasing services and continuing to increase and improve programs meaningful to the community.

In keeping with our mission, MHMH joined forces with Cincinnati-based TriHealth in January 2015. This affiliation will prepare MHMH for significant changes in healthcare delivery and enhance quality healthcare services for our patients for generations to come. Together our aim is to continue fulfilling our mission by strengthening our resources with TriHealth's significant expertise, regional locations and financial and clinical resources.

MHMH TriHealth will always be based on a patient-centered, caring philosophy. Our nurses treat patients as if they were our own family members, and our staff is dedicated to providing safe and high-quality services, with kindness and compassion. MHMH TriHealth medical staff members are highly-skilled, experienced, and most importantly, want to make a difference in their patient's lives. You can learn more about our medical staff backgrounds by visiting our physician directory.

MHMH TriHealth is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a community board of Oxford and Cincinnati area volunteers. Our preventative, diagnostic/therapeutic rehabilitative services are truly outstanding and accessible at multiple locations: Oxford, Camden, Hamilton and Ross.

Our affiliation with TriHealth brings a significant commitment to improve services in these areas and provides many benefits to our patients, medical staff, employees and community. We've already expanded our care with the addition of the TriHealth Cancer, Surgical and Orthopedic and Sports Institutes, with plans to add the Heart Institute as we continue to bring care to the region. And we've implemented a new integrated electronic medical record, Epic, that will make visiting any of our locations in and surrounding Oxford and Cincinnati seamless for our patients. Patients now have the ability personally to access their own electronic record through enrollment in "My Chart."

We are currently constructing a new Emergency Department which will open in July. This will be followed by expansion and construction of a new Operating Room and Endoscopy Suites which will open next summer. In addition to clinical service expansion and new facilities, we will also be enriching our service area with major funding for projects that support healthy community initiatives.

MHMH has been my home for 34 years. I am excited for changes that support the MHMH/TriHealth vision of making our hospital the place where people want to obtain care, where physicians want to practice and where employees want to work. The best part of my job is the opportunity to serve others and to make a difference in my community. On behalf of the board, medical staff, employees and volunteers, thank you for the opportunity to serve you. We are greatly looking forward to the future. Thank you for visiting our website.

Sincerely,

Pam Collins
Chief Patient Services Officer
