Welcome to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital (MHMH). We're glad you took the time to visit our website to learn more about us.
Opened in 1957, MHMH is named after two benefactor families who provided the initial donations that made the original facilities possible. Since then, of course, we've continued to expand our locations, increase many services and continuously improve our programs.
MHMH is based on a patient-centered, caring philosophy. Our staff is dedicated to providing safe and high-quality services, with the utmost kindness and compassion. MHMH medical staff members have impeccable training, experience and skills. The vast majority are board-certified in their chosen professional field. You can learn more of the medical staff backgrounds by visiting our physician directory.
If you are interested in supporting MHMH financially, we do have an MHMH Trust. There are many good reasons to give through our Development Program, and you can find detailed information on our website regarding our needs. You can make online contributions as well.
MHMH is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a community board of Oxford and Cincinnati area volunteers—leaders in their own right. MHMH has many proud traditions based on bedside care, concern for healing, education, patient dignity and rights. As you become more familiar with our programs and services from the information found here on our website, we hope you will choose to experience us firsthand. Our preventative, diagnostic/therapeutic rehabilitative services are truly outstanding and accessible at multiple locations: Oxford, Camden, Hamilton, Ross, and Brookville Indiana.
As you may or may not know, in January of 2015, MHMH affiliated with Cincinnati-based healthcare system, TriHealth. This affiliation will prepare MHMH for significant changes in the healthcare arena and enhance quality healthcare services for our patients for generations to come.
This affiliation is a significant commitment by TriHealth to improve services in the Oxford area and provides many benefits to our patients, medical staff, employees, community, including but not limited to a $17 million commitment to MHMH. Part of this commitment includes a $9.5 million state-of-the-art information technology system (EPIC).
TriHealth now has 60 percent ownership in the hospital, while the MHMH Trust will retain 40 percent, and the Board composition will reflect this structure.
Together our aim is to continue fulfilling our mission of delivering local, high quality healthcare, while being made stronger by TriHealth's significant expertise, regional footprint and financial and clinical resources.
On behalf of the board, medical staff, employees and volunteers, thank you for the opportunity to serve you with the highest quality compassion and care. We are greatly looking forward to the future.
